OT3368 Integrated Digital Audio USB Host Controller

The OT3368 is a media platform with high performance. It possesses a built-in MP3/WMA/AAC/ WAV decoder, incorporating USB2.0 Full Speed OTG controller, a high quality Stereo Audio DAC, 10 bank equalizers, and SD/MMC card reader. With USB host controller, you can play audio data from any USB devices with mass storage and MTP protocol. With SD/MMC card interface, it conforms to SD(Secure Digital Memory) specification 1.0/ 1.1/2.0 (SDHC)/3.0 (SDXC).

The built-in MPEG 1/2/2.5 layer 3 audio decoder accepts audio formats with sampling frequency 8K up to 48KHz, at bit-rate from 8 to 320Kbps. With the WMA audio decoder supports WMA V7/V8/V9 format, the sampling frequency 8K up to 48KHz and accepts elementary compressed stream with data rate from 8Kbps to 320Kbps. With the AAC audio decoder supports the sampling frequency 32K up to 48KHz and data rate from 64Kbps to 320Kbps. For WAV, it supports sampling frequency 8K up to 48KHz. The controller supports file system with FAT12/16/32 and NTFS format, provides a powerful searching engine for the content seeking.

The OT3368 supports Apple IPod/IPhone/IPad digital audio stream output through USB via the Apple accessory protocol, also supports PC audio stream output via USB Isochronous protocol as a USB speaker. The controller can combine with OTI patented Smart KM Link series chipset to provide the Human Interface Device inputting ability for sharing the keyboard usage from PC to Apple IPhone/IPad. More powerful features with PC would be releasing in the future applications.

The OT3368 contains many GPIOs, rich bus/interfaces, RTC, SAR ADC, embedded 12-seg display driver and 64K OTP ROM. OT3368 supports the ISP (In System Programming) via USB and SD Card, this feature allows you to upgrade the external NOR Flash for various customization cases. Only a 32.768KHz crystals are needed in the system, there are PLLs in this controller to generate clocks for various applications.
